Bijzonderheden: Ik kreeg een e-mail uit de US van iemand die op zoek was naar verwante familie bij ons: dit is een uittreksel van de mail: I did receive the email but I haven't had time to answer it. I have no idea where in Belgium. My parents are both deceased and so are all my grandparents. I know my grandfather's name was Mon Frederick Maes I. I know he came thru Ellis Island and moved to Charleston South Carolina where he met my grandmother Julia Blanton. My father was born around 1926. (father died in 1956 when I was four). Never learned my about that side of the family. There was on other child and he was Named after my grandfather, Mon Frederick Maes II. I do know my grandfather was married before and had two son's still in Belgium.
